A little white dress, or LWD if you will, is the summer version of the LBD. It truly is a blank canvas because everyone has their own way of styling it. For a formal occasion like a dinner out, a play, or the ballet, a white dress can be paired with a silk shawl, a beaded minaudière, a simple strand of pearls, chandelier earrings, and a glossy red lip. For daytime formal occasions like a work party or baby shower, a white dress can be paired with bright pointed toe pumps, a printed clutch, and minimal jewelry. And, for a casual occasion like a day traveling a nearby city or shopping, a white dress can be paired with neutral sandals, a light cardigan, oversized sunglasses, and a woven tote. That's just scratching the surface; the possibilities are endless! For this white a-line denim dress in particular, it's not just like a little black dress, but also similar to a sundress. Even though the dress and the blazer look more fitted and feminine, the black cork wedges, the black sunglasses, the black quilted messenger bag, and the black link necklace break apart the formal pieces and light colors.

VACATION EDITION- Greece
Even if you're not going on a luxurious getaway this summer, you can still dress the part. For a Greek vacation, I was inspired by the blue and white houses and churches and ancient clothing of Greece. Everything about this outfit is casual and understated. The lightweight linen Calypso St. Barth dress cascades into a high-low hem and is cinched with an elegant wrap belt. The sheer simplicity of the white linen is brightened up with an aqua Greek-style Melissa Odabash bikini with gold accents. Of course, it's a plus that such a cute swimsuit is on sale at Net-a-Porter! The (super inexpensive) leather and turquoise bracelet from Etsy and braided brown and gold Ancient Greek sandals from The Outnet (also on sale) add modern twists. The Korres Greek Yogurt Cooling Gel is a perfect way to end a Greek inspired day in the sun. If you have curly or wavy hair, leave as, or if you have straight hair, curl it, leave curls hanging down in the front, put in a thin metallic headband, and pull your hair back into a half up-do. I don't know about you, but this outfit makes me want to visit Greece even more! It is definitely on the top of my list for vacation destinations. What is your dream vacation destination? Let me know in the comments below!

FLUTTER AND FLY
To be honest, green has never been my favorite color. No, actually, I have hated green for as long as I can remember. From clothing to food, ever since I was little, I would never pick green. Pink, blue, even red were always on the top of my list. But, after finding this Madewell racerback tank, I've welcomed green with open arms. I have been loving linen lately and the mixture of the light green and the textured linen is very casual. This outfit would work perfectly with a loose side braid or a romantic braided half-updo for a picnic or any other warm weather plans.

NATURAL RESOURCES
Even on breezy summer days, shorts are staples. During the spring, sheer cardigans and tees are perfect for mild weather. Thin blazers also share the same versatility, but add sophistication to outfits. In this outfit, I paired rich cognac leather with pastels, such as grey and lilac, along with metallics. Lately I have been loving geode jewelry because of the luxurious gold settings, organic shapes, and various shades. This outfit would be perfect for a day window shopping because of the overall simplicity and thin cotton or cotton-blend pieces.

BIRD WATCHING
For a day in wildlife, a combination of retro, feminine, and masculine pieces become a perfect casual outfit. The breezy and elegant red bird print Zara shorts balances out with the Topshop camoflauge jacket. The retro and vintage-style Norma Kamali cat-eye sunglasses balances out with the sophisticated Rose Pierre ring and various gold bird necklaces. Neutral nail polish from Chanel accent the various patterns and textures. Even for summer, there are enough layers to stay comfortable in cool breezes in the trees or by a river or creek.
