DRESS WEEK- Black and White
I can't believe it's the final post of Dress Week! For today's look, I decided to do a twist on black and white. Over the past posts, I have put together more casual and feminine outfits. However, for Friday, I decided to create outfits that are more formal and edgy. When accessorizing black and white, it's common to add add a pop of color with red or blue. Instead, I chose to use green! Along with the green, I added gold jewelry and lip gloss and white nail polish to complete the outfit. These outfits can bring you from day to night because they combine the formal and sophisticated little black dress with the laid-back and summer staple, the little white dress. To wear the look yourself, wrap your hair in a bun for the evening or left down during the day. If you have any feedback or recommendations for a future post, let me know in the comments below!

BACK TO THE BASICS
Even though trends are important to fashion, a good wardrobe is always built off of basics. Here are some examples of wardrobe necessities!

1. This black leather backpack is very versatile and is perfect for everyday use. It's definitely not a traditional school backpack, but it is a stylish alternative to a plain purse.

3. Linen has more texture than cotton and is just as soft. These t-shirts can be dressed up with a printed skirt and bright sandals or left casual and worn with jean shorts and simple flip flops.

4. Seven for all Mankind jeans are super soft, comfortable, and durable. This light wash pair may be on sale, but is just as stylish.

5. This black cardigan can be paired up with any outfit. Of course, it's an added bonus that it is cashmere!

6. These stylish glasses prove you don't have to be a pilot to wear aviators! These aviators are elegant and have tortoise details.

ARM CANDY
Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved charm bracelets. Charm bracelets have always been a special and comforting way for me to carry cherished memories wherever I go. I used to collect my charms on a bracelet from the children's department of Nordstrom and a Italian charm bracelet from New York. Since I have had my Tiffany & Co. charm bracelet for a while now, it's become a fairly permanent accessory in my wardrobe. Along with that charm bracelet, I always have my Burberry watch and sometimes I add another bracelet, like this hammered silver bracelet from Monaco. Now, here are some ideas for your collection!
